Integration of bugzilla and quality center

Hi Namit,

I'm not quite sure what you're asking for here. The Launchpad plugin for Bugzilla, on which you've filed this question, adds an API to a standard Bugzilla installation to allow Launchpad to communicate with it in a data-efficient manner.

Could you help me understand what it is that you're asking? What is "the quality centre"? How do you think the Launchpad Bugzilla plugin would help you integrate Bugzilla with the quality centre?

Quality Center is a tool used for test management. It makes use of Bugzilla as a freeware to file in bugs and get the solutions. I am supposed to integrate these two tools. I thought that these plugins might help me with the process. I am asking for an API Bugzilla which can help in integrating it with Quality Center.

Hi Namit,

I'm not sure that the plugins will be of huge help to you, simply because bits of them are quite Launchpad-centric (for example, the authentication process used by the plugins to ensure that Launchpad is what it claims to be is specific to Launchpad).

A better idea may be to look at Bugzilla 3.4, which comes with its own set of Bugzilla-specific APIs so that anyone can talk to it in the same way that Launchpad does without any extra plugins being needed. This would probably be more suitable for your needs.
