Thanks for reporting this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
The crash seems to be happening while glib is UTF8izing a filename, and g_utf8_ get_charset_ internal( ) makes a call to getenv() -- pretty low-level stuff that indicator- application doesn't have much control over.
My first guess is that there's a configuration issue with your system. It would help us greatly if you could test with 12.04 it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http:// www.ubuntu. com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
