do you have python-kde3 installed? (apt-cache policy python-kde3)

do you have the file /usr/share/pycentral/python-kde3/site-packages/dcopext.py ?

what happens if you run "import dcopext" at a python command line?

Is anyone still experiencing this? I'm unable to reproduce on Hardy.
