Bug Description
1. Float any 2 dialogs (by dragging them away from the dock)
2. Drag one floating dialog onto the other floating dialog - this should group both dialogs in a single floating window
3. Close Inkscape
4. Crash
Reproduced on Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows XP.

Confirmed on Windows XP and Ubuntu 11.04, 0.48.2 and trunk.
A patch exists (with extra features) in Bug #171579 (Make inkscape remember dialogs window status).
@john - Would you be willing to extract a patch for this report so that we can commit it in the trunk and 0.48.x branch now? Thanks!
