In question #182259, astha said:
  86 of 86 tests failed
  while installing after "make all" , the command "make check" gives the tests faild.

Please provide some more information to help understanding the problem:
 - which release or which dev branch do you use?
 - what were the options you gave to configure/autogen.sh?
 - did you follow the instructions from FAQ #636 (and especially the note about step 10 of FAQ #1140) ?

i changed the path in autogen --prefix=.... and now it is working.

Did that still work if you run autogen.sh again with the old prefix ? It seems as if running autogen.sh fixed the problem, changing the prefix was perhaps not important. Could you please give it a try?
