Bug Description

Last lines of syslog before crash:

Also, this is my first install of a linux distro on an SSD.

We don't use the grub-installer upstream project in Launchpad (besides, there's no evidence here that this is an upstream bug ...), so please don't assign bug tasks to it.

The Linux Mint task remains open.
