Note that static quicklists are already supported.

how do I get quicklists to work please? what is the procedure? Sorry for a dumb question I've just installed Elementary OS as I'm looking to change from ubuntu, but I like my quicklists. it's a personal thing not for everyone I guess. thanks

Read the page linked to in the bug description. Then pin any of those modified launchers to the dock.

My guess is the launchers in Elementary OS don't contain the static quicklists from Ubuntu? You may have to manually add them.

I love the work that's been added. Will it be extended to include firefox/chrome number of downloads and download progress bar?
