Confirming. Attempting to click the launcher icon opens a new instance. Attempting to minimize the window makes windows inaccessible through the launcher, but since emesene integrates with the messaging menu all open instances are still accessible using that menu.

Possibly bamf, I think?

is that still an issue in Ubuntu 12.04?
