Me TV doesn't auto shutdown when that option is selected with everyday recordings

Bug Description

I have set Me TV to auto record a programme everyday. The option "After" is set to "Shutdown", but Me TV doesn't turn off the computer.

However, it does shutdown the computer normally with recordings that don't repeat every day.

Ubuntu 10.04.
Me TV 1.3.6.
Linux kernel 2.6.32-28

Thanks, I think that the shutdown mechanism will have to change. The server may not be on the same computer as the client and the server can run headless. GNOME and the DBus services might not be available, you might need to execute a command, maybe this could be generic.

Thoughts anyone?

You're right, we definitly can't do it the same way we did it before. We should probably disable this (action after) while we think about it.
