GNOME defaults to 12hr clock even when locale is set to UK

Bug Description

Both OSX and Windows use the 24hr clock when the locale is set to UK. Ubuntu should comply with this behaviour and also display clock in 24hr format when the locale is set to UK.

Thanks for your bug. The clock is set to 24h with an UK locale on my edgy desktop. What version of Ubuntu do you use?
