Thank you for reporting this bug.
Are you sure this happens when clicking the Computer place too? This happens for me, only the app opening is shotwell, and only when clicking bookmarked places from the places menu (Home folder, Pictures, etc...)
Also take a look at bug #667071, a report like this, only with archive manager opening.
