RussianNeuroMancer,

Thanks for your bug report. I cannot read Russian, so I cannot really tell whether this bug should be a duplicate of bug 579134. Could you please give more info on where you see this string (perhaps with a screenshot) and whether you think it is indeed a duplicate? Thanks.

You can then set the bug status from Incomplete to New.

Changed in indicator-datetime (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

What you mean? It's about bug or about string? This bug not duplicate.

Thanks for the info. The string seems to come from the clock applet in gnome-panel, so I've updated the affected package accordingly (indicator-datetime shows only the time of the day, not the day or month).

You might also want to report this upstream in GNOME and add a link to the upstream bug.

affects: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) → gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
Changed in ubuntu-translations:
status: New → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Low

This bug cannot be fixed until Russian locale is updated.
There root cause is https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/langpack-locales/+bug/124987 and by some Russophobic conspiracy no patches submitted there had been applied.

Thanks for the pointer to the main bug, of which I'm going to mark as a duplicate.

For the record, there is no such thing as a conspiracy, just people being busy with lots of other stuff :)
