i just installed unity (ubuntu 10.10) and logged in, then apport came up.

This happens even in the latest unity live cd, [Also in Acer Aspire One, when the applications icon is clicked Unity just crashes and keeps reloading when this happens > Bug 619270 is still waiting for retracers]

Can some capture a trace of this with the debugging symbols installed (install the libzeitgeist-1.0-0-dbg package)?

Mikkel, my Bug #619270 and Bug #620294 [where Markus has run the retracers locally all seem dup of this bug] And it might be what Markus refers to in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/616997/comments/51 as well.

I'll run a debugging too.

Is anyone still affected by this bug? I had marked it confirmed since i could reproduce the problem till yesterday.
This seems fixed with yesterday's update: Bug #624169
