Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
When the computer is not connected to the Internet, Software Center doesn't alert that some functionalities are not available because of that. The screenshots, for instance, can't be loaded, but the user is not aware that they even exists. An alert or image place holders could let user know that he is missing them because lack of connectivity.
Looks also strange that the user is allowed to enter in the "Get Software" section when there is no connectivity.

Hi Christian,
With the latest version of SC, a message saying 'Screenshot cannot be loaded' (or something like that) is shown when the screenshot can't be found. I believe this solves the first issue you speak about.
Secondly I don't feel that restricting users from the 'Get Software' section because they have no internet connection is a good idea. Whilst I appreciate that they cannot install, some users may want to just browse, and for this it is able to function just fine.
I am marking this as Invalid, if you feel this is still an issue, please reopen the bug, stating your reasons.
Thanks for the report :)
