Bug Description
Binary package hint: xdg-user-dirs
Hi,
I have a customized ~/.config/
Every time I reboot my computer, the user-dirs.dirs files changes, and both "customized" variables point to "$HOME/". I have to manually fix the file after every reboot.
After a logoff/login the file keeps unchanged.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu.
