Bug Description

I used Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty for 6 months and played games such as Secret Maryo Chronicles (aka SMC) and used programs like Google Earth. They all ran fine using the default graphics for my ATI Radeon X200 (integrated) graphics card.

I recently installed (not upgraded, I did a "clean install") 10.04 Lucid Lynx. I've tried playing SMC and using Google Earth with the default driver. SMC is not playable to to graphics lag and Google Earth renders horribly.

Somehow everything worked nicely on Jaunty with the default driver but on Lucid with it's default driver things don't work well.

Official support for Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" on the desktop ended on May 9, 2013. Are you still having these problems on Ubuntu 13.04 "Raring Ringtail"?
