Multitouch on trackpad doesn't work as it should

Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

When I put two fingers on my trackpad, the cursor flashes wildly between the two points. It should only recognize the first finger as a pointer input while using the other finger for gestures. I assume this is a setting in the synaptic driver.
