Google Buzz now has a complete API in Labs: https://code.google.com/apis/buzz/
Could Gwibber support this in the near future?

this might be done for gwibber 3.0 as now gwibber has passed the stage of new features(only bug fixes)

Google has not made the APIs for Buzz available yet, but I plan to implement this feature as soon as possible.

I hope there can be a ppa for Lucid that includes Buzz at least.

Having Buzz in Gwibber would at least make me use it more.

Thanks for the work on this, Ryan.

Many users are going to stick with Lucid für the next 2 years. Any chance of backporting Buzz-support to Lucid (Gwibber 2.30.2)? Twitter's OAuth was just released for Gwibber on Lucid. I think, that platforms with status-updates are continuously changing. In a couple of month, we might see "Google Me". And I guess, Lucid-users want to connect Gwibber to that platform as well. I do not know how connectors to platforms are added to Gwibber. If this is done via plugins, one could just add the plugins to Lucid's repositories as they are ready. Just a few thoughts from my side. Thanks for the great work on Gwibber!
