I don't see how this can happen as the postinst first checks whether that file exists and if it does not it symlinks it....

What I did was deleting the /etc/phpmysql folder and run apt-get install
phpmyadmin.

After this I tried to run apt-get remove phpmyadmin and delete the file
mentioned the the error, but I got the same problem when installing
phpmyadmin again. The remove script run OK though.

I don't know much about deb files. How can I see the scripts the installer
runs when installing, configuring and removing? Are they bash scripts? I
like to documentation about this would be enlighten me.
