Bug Description

Binary package hint: zoneminder

From /usr/share/doc/zoneminder/README.Debian:

There is one manual step to get the web interface working.
You need to link /etc/zm/apache.conf to /etc/apache2/conf.d/zoneminder.conf,
then reload the apache config (i.e. /etc/init.d/apache2 reload)

This should be done automatically.

This is also a bug in 10.04 lucid x64.

This also applies to Ubuntu 15.10.
After install you need to manually run:
a2enconf zoneminder
a2enmod cgi

I believe that is deliberate by Debian packaging as Apache configuration varies by user preference, and having the package modify that configuration would cause issues. Feel free to ask Debian maintainer for their view on this.
