Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
Ubuntu-client version: 1.0.2-0ubuntu2
what was expected:
1) settings saved when changed
2) connection to server when connect was clicked
what happend:
1) settings do not save and revert back to what they where once window is closed
2) pressing connect does not work
what has been tried:
1) deleting ubuntu one folder
2) deleting ubuntu-one token in keyring
results of attempts:
1) folder was recreated along with shared folder
2) short authentication error was spotted in the notification area, new token was made
workaround found:
note: has worked almost every time, and settings do not save
In notification area clicking connect and there right after going to preferences and checking "limit band with" will
get the client to connect almost instantly and stay connected. Syncing is done flawlessly also with changes detected and files updated without problem.
