I cant add a screen shot as it closes this window when I click on browse, also my screen resolution is now only able to go as 600 x 800 or worse..

where did you get "xorg-driver-fglrx 8.471-0ubuntu1" from? Did you use envy or the upstream installer?

As I suggest in the FAQ, you should have uninstalled the driver from Envy before you upgraded.

Type:
sudo envy --uninstall-all

The bug might affect the old envy since envyng-core works only on hardy.
