Bug Description

SRU Justification

    Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly from a mainline/stable Linux tree or
a minimally backported form of that patch. The following upstream
stable patches should be included in the Ubuntu kernel:

I have Kingston A2000 SSD. I found that this patch fixed: " nvme-pci: avoid the deepest sleep state on Kingston A2000 SSDs"

I would like to know if this patch is also aplied in the newest version of kernel 5.8 for Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS?

Should I install latest 5.4 kernel instead 5.8 or I can use 5.8 because this patch was applied also in this kernel version?
