Bug Description

[Impact]
New elan trackpoint on elan_i2c reports the following error:
"failed to read report data: -71"
it failed to work.

[Fix]
Add new report type support and fix protocol errors for some trackpoints in SMBus mode.

[Test Case]
Touchpad and trackpoint work well.
Verified on 3 other models of ThinkPads with elan touchpad loaded.
All good.

@mikelito, the patches are only landed in oem-1038 kernel for now, not for focal/5.4 or groovy/5.8.

Please try oem-5.6-1038 or wait for a moment.
