Hi, could you try backport-iwlwifi-dkms package fro my ppa https://launchpad.net/~vicamo/+archive/ubuntu/backport-iwlwifi-dkms . This ppa contains some packages from latest intel backport-iwlwifi tree HEAD.

Could you also attach full dmesg since boot `journalctl -b` and `sudo lspci -vvnn` output?

XPS 13 9350 is not found in Ubuntu-certified directory. Removed the tag.

Besides, I thought it should[1] equips DW1820A 2x2 802.11ac 2.4/5GHz, which should be compatible with Broadcom BCM4350[2], but your log shows as Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260. Is that an manually upgraded one? From the support page[3] it shows that's only compatible with XPS 15 9550 and Precision 5510.

I'm seeing what appears to be the same problem booting Eoan (kernel 5.3.0-18, Dell Precision 3510, wifi pci id 8086:24f3 ).

If I hide iwlwifi-8000C-36.ucode the system will boot normally with 8000C-34 and wifi seems to be working ok.

The same laptop is dual booted with Bionic HWE 03 - no problems with 8000C-36

Hi, could you try mainline kernel v5.4-rc2[1]? I believe this is a duplicate of bug 1846016.

Oops, I should set affected projects/series in bug 1846016 instead since this is to be marked as duplicated. :X
