The following NEW packages will be installed:
  lftp
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 109 not upgraded.
Need to get 422 kB of archives.
After this operation, 1,204 kB of additional disk space will be used.
Get:1 http://us-central1.gce.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu trusty/main amd64 lftp amd64 4.4.13-1 [422 kB]
Fetched 422 kB in 0s (15.9 MB/s)

(Reading database ... 105094 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to unpack .../lftp_4.4.13-1_amd64.deb ...
Unpacking lftp (4.4.13-1) ...
Processing triggers for man-db (2.6.7.1-1ubuntu1) ...
Setting up lftp (4.4.13-1) ...

Then, when i do
$ lftp -c mirror --delete --loop --verbose=1 https://something/ ./

It fails:
Transferring file `name'
mirror: name: file size decreased during transfer

This does not happen with lftp 4.8.0 in debian sid.
I'd guess it might be https://github.com/lavv17/lftp/issues/54, but it should already be fixed in 4.4.13
