Bug Description

Binary package hint: cupsys

cupsys-bsd should depend on package csh as 3rd party drivers based on lpr may think they may use it safely. this is at least true for the drivers from brother.

somehow I lost csh while upgrading to gutsy and printing did stop to work, reinstalling again solved the problem.
work-around:

# apt-get install csh

In Hardy the Brother drivers have been added to multiverse, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BrotherDriverPackaging.
These packages depend on csh, does this solve your issue?

Feel free to reopen if you still have this problem in Ubuntu 8.04 or Intrepid using the Brother drivers in multiverse.
