Bug Description

There was a problem installing the selected software

One or more packages failed to install. [...]

Is it possible to localize this message, too?

Can you provide a translation?

In general, please don't open bugs about individual missing translations; I
count 9240 missing translations in the installer over all languages at the
moment (number may be a bit inaccurate), and I'm sure you can appreciate that I
would quickly be swamped! Thus, NOTABUG (since it's better handled outside the
bug tracking system).

However, updates to http://people.ubuntu.com/~cjwatson/installer/po/de.po by
e-mail to me are appreciated.

Think http://people.ubuntu.com/~cjwatson/installer-po/de.po is the right URL.

But I can't find the English string in there. Everything seems to be translated.
Where can I find the untranslated ones?

They should all be there now.
