Bug Description

my acer aspire one725-0487 does not work with wpa/wpa2 personal for LTS12 or LTS14. works fine for WEP for both releases. also does not work in windows 7 for wpa/wpa2 but does work for wep. WPA works in windows 8 on same hardware.

on same hardware wpa fails for ubuntu 12,14 and windows 7 but works with windows 8. I don't know why? would like to use computer as dual boot for both ubuntu and win7. please let me know if patch will be available in future???

    This project is the upstream for three utilities: hostapd - daemon for WPA authentication and security on networks. wpa_supplicant - WPA client service for authenticating to encrypted networks. wpagui - GUI application for controlling wpa_supplicant (Matching binaries: wpagui, wpasupplicant, wpasupplicant-udeb.)

    wpa_supplicant is a WPA Supplicant for Linux, BSD, and Windows with support for WPA and WPA2 (IEEE 802.11i / RSN). It is suitable for both desktop/laptop computers and embedded systems. Supplicant is the IEEE 802.1X/WPA component that is used in the client stations. It implements key negotiation with a WPA Authenticator and it controls the roaming and IEEE 802.11 authentication/association of the wlan driver. I don't know where problem is! I don't write or debug code, sorry. if u give me pointers on what u r looking 4, i will try to debug more. I was waiting 4 14.04LTS thinking that would fix isssue. i was wrong.
