Bug Description
Binary package hint: displayconfig-gtk
Currently we get this dialogue (attached) when updating settings.
We should be doing whatever we do that makes a notification area icon appear, like after installing a kernel upgrade, or installing or removing drivers via restricted-manager.

hello
i think so. but i think a restart notification would be to heavy for a liveCD application for example.
I think the best solution would be only to propose a xserver restart
cheers
