Bug Description

xchat-gnome 1:0.30.0~git20131003.d20b8d-2ubuntu1 that just got uploaded to trusty has broken window scrolling behaviour.

When starting up, it automatically scrolls the window while loading all the scrollback text which makes it take forever to start.

Once started, scrolling to the bottom of a channel with the mouse wheel, switching to a different channel, and coming back doesn't restore the channel to the bottom.

This version is borderline unusable.

Jackson, you did that update, can you look at that issue? The new version also has unity/indicator integration issue, the read messages are not clear and xchat-gnome segfaults when you click on a stalled indicator entry

I have reverted the upload in the archive for now, as the multiple issues are preventing xchat-gnome git20131003 from being used currently.

I can confirm that the scrolling is broken. In fact, I have even warned Jackson before this was uploaded, but he said it works fine for him.
