Unable to copy and paste text in terminal

Tested Gnome Terminal 3.10.2 under Trusty 14.04 on 17 February - Pentium D w/384MB RAM

Select works as normal in any other program.

Copy using EDIT menu drop-down works.

PASTE works when remembering that SHIFT-CNTL-V is the correct key combination for terminal.

Mouse action rt-click - COPY and rt-click - PASTE work normally as expected

I select text in terminal using mouse. When I pull the finger from mouse button text get immediately unselected.
So I cannot cut/copy it.

I have tried:

- gnome terminal
- xfce4-terminal
- lxterminal
- konsole

Only konsole works.

I can confirm that I can't copy/paste on ubuntu-rtm (phone factor).

When I tap a long time, I have a beautifull overlay to use some special CTRL+x key, but nothing to copy/paste.
I didnt find in menu, the panel that would have the paste button (a paste button would be perfect on phone).

Regarding my last comment #4, I opened a separated bug report for the touch-friendly paste feature: Bug #1396974

This is no longer an issue as the copy & paste feature has been enabled for terminal.
