Logged-in status doesn't show on front page

Bug Description
When I log in on the Rosetta front page, I get a message "You are logged in". When I return to the Rosetta front page, I still doesn't appear as logged in, but everything works as if I am logged in. On all other pages (Translator dashboard, preferences, templates, etc.) I appear as logged in.
