launchpad silently refuses to remove a blueprint dependency

Bug Description
I want to remove the 'live-migration' dependency from https:/
* click 'Remove dependency'
* select 'Live migration' in the dropdown
* click 'Continue'
* launchpad displays the kvm-post-1-0 blueprint again but if you scroll down you'll see it has failed to actually remove the dependency
Other dependency add/remove seems to work, but this one does not. Speculation: is it because the dependent blueprint is superseded?

Why has this bug been marked as a duplicate of 1087223?
Bug 1087223:
* the UI is confusing if you have two dependencies with the same title
This bug:
* it is not possible to remove this dependency, launchpad won't let me
You can see the effects of this bug even when there is no same-title dependency present.
They're completely different issues, which is why I filed two bugs.
