Please see bug report lp:1446880 for explanations and details about Apport wrongly reporting against 'dpkg' instead of the faulty 'software-center' package.

All these similar bugs will be set as 'duplicate' as apport is also disturbed by the package name instead of picking up the real error

Please don't randomly add projects to bug reports, especially when those projects don't use Launchpad for bug tracking. I see no evidence that this has anything to do with either Ubuntu Software Center or Software Updater.

I'm sorry for my inconvenience. I'm just changed to use Ubuntu just few
months ago, then many things here i don't know. The system notification
sometimes pop-up every i login. It's made me think it's a problem. Finally,
I do a clean-install, and now everything's seems ok.
