Bug Description

I use Ubuntu 12.04 running in Unity 2D mode. I used to put my PC into standby mode over night but since updating to 12.04 I get no login screen after wake-up. Instead, the session simply continues. Which is quite disturbing since everyone in the company could turn on my PC using my session withoug having to log in.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS.

The screensaver does not lock, despite the fact that I have configured "All Settings: Brightness and Lock" to lock the screen after 30 seconds.

How can I fix this?

Here is what I do:

 1. Click Dash and write : brightness and lock
 2. The "Brightness and Lock" window opens. At that window I set the following settings:
  1. "Turn screen off when inactive for" is set to 5 minutes
  2. Lock is ON
  3. "Lock screen after" is set to 30 seconds
  4. "Require my password when waking from suspend" is checked.
