Save tasks because of reinstalltion of ubuntu

Hello,

i want to reinstalled my ubuntu because i have some problems after the update to karmic. Can i save the tasks from boinc so that i can continuing work on them in the new installation?

Possibly an easier solution is to go to projects, click on each project in turn, and click "No New Tasks". Then wait for them to finish. This however is only practical if you don't have that much time left..
