Idea for more USER control with BB's cleaners

Asked by Theatre-X

I use BB at work on multiple machines for different architectures. I've found seeing cleaners that I would never rather inconvenient and having to manually go through and select the ones I want a bit dreadful. What do you think of the idea of letting users choose which cleaners they would like to have enabled or disabled at first run after the BB install?

To elaborate a little more: My idea is to not have a default cleaner listing.

Or even have manual selection along with two other options: One searches the hard-disk for programs that have cleaners and selects them in the list automatically while you go and select other ones in case BB doesn't find all of them for whatever reason and the other option selects "Recommended" cleaners or something?

I dunno, just some ideas.

I don't follow the "two other options" part, but basically it sounds like you want a way to hide cleaners that you plan never to use?

Or you want a favorites list?

Precisely.
I see it as another solution to having that long list of cleaners and having to go through the entire ist to select which ones you would like to use. :)

And I mean precisely as in both the latter and former in your reply :)

Hmm, sounds like you want to clean up the list of cleaners.

If you fie it as a bug, I'll put it on the wishlist. It's an interesting idea, but it won't get changed soon.

Can you help with this problem?
