How do I set my account back to require entering my password to logi in? If you log in on someone else's computer they can access your files with only your emale address.

Asked by redfish18

How do you set your account to require your password to log in. When you first set up the account it asks if you want to remember your login. if you choose that option, anyone that knows your emal address can go to Ubuntu One and access your files from any computer.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. Are you referring to the web site or the client? Neither will allow people to access your files in Ubuntu One "from any computer" as you note. If they can, we have a serious issue to address. Can you provide the steps you are taking to duplicate this behavior and specify if you're talking about the web site or the client?

Thank you,

Joshua

Hi James,

Did you click "Log Out" in the upper right-hand of https://one.ubuntu.com/? It sounds like you may not have or your browser is setup to save/remember passwords, which will display the behavior you described.

Thank you,

Joshua
