mp3, mp4, m4a, wma, ogg, flac, oga, m4p, aac, alac. potentially more, if requested (and had a gstreamer plugin).

BeatBox uses the same decoding system (GStreamer) as Rhythmbox, Totem and Banshee.
To enable support for more codecs on your system, you might need to install additional GStreamer plugins.
