Archive No. does it conflict with the volume's ID

Asked by pt123

I see there is an option to edit the archive no., I am worried if it will interfere with unique id ( or no.) the program uses to separate the volumes.

Mind you I think it is great to be able to edit the Archive No., as it can reflect the physical number (written on the disk).

The archive no. is intended for those numbers you can find on disc sheets of CD archives/banks/towers, e.g:

http://www.amazon.de/DVD-ALU-TURM-SAFE-600-SCHWARZ/dp/B001CW8T1M/ref=sr_1_29?ie=UTF8&s=toys&qid=1281267170&sr=8-29

http://www.amazon.com/Discgear-Selector-80-2dDisc-Storage-System/dp/B0015AB3GE/ref=sr_1_29?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1281266873&sr=8-29

The archive no. reflects the number of the slot that holds the disc in question and does not conflict with the internal volume id, which is not exposed to the user.
