When will the next release appear?

Asked by Martin Fisher

Sorry to trouble you - but do you know when the next release of BiT will appear? Reading here and there amongst the questions appears to indicate that the next release will facilitate the use of more than one profile. I am in the process of revamping my backup system and would potentially like to take advantage of this feature.

With grateful thanks

Yes I would be interested to know also. I have been trying other backup solutions but BiT is simple and reliable.

Hi, there is a beta release (0.9.99beta5) available on testing repository.
The final release depend on feedback on beta releases.

I'm just installed the testing release.

Is there any "straight-forward" (or in other words: easy for the lazy) way to know what changed in the testing-beta? So that I know what parts to test or comment on?

I am testing the beta release but it is unclear to me where you would like us to post any problems. Here?

I would like to try the testing version, but form where do I get the sources? Is the compilation process tricky/complicated?

Can you help with this problem?
