Selecting "Update Snapshot" button doesn't trigger update

Asked by fshapps

I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 / Back in Time 0.9.26.

When I select "Take Snapshot" a snapshot is generated as expected.

When I select "Update Snapshot" nothing happens even though I know several tens of files have changed since the initial snapshot. I checked the backup destination drive and verified the files have not been updated.

I do not have an automated backup scheduled.

Thanks!
J.

Sorry we might have to change the name of the button, because I have seen
this question before: the update button is to update the GUI view, to update
your snapshots you have to push the take snapshot button.

Cheers,
Bart
