py error when launching snapshot

Asked by qbic2005

Hi
Your software seems very promising, but...
I try to run backintime from source on a gentoo, but it gets stuck on some bizarre python error, when I press the backup now button (and when doing $backintime --backup)

Next to this little log I can sent you my package versions or whatever else that might help. Would be fun to get this going, but got no idea where to start looking.

Never mind, I don't know where my head was at the moment that I installed this, I should have taken the package from portage!

Great soft, keep it up ;)

The py error is known however should not interfere with the process. What
does interfere that it looks like that your rsync does not support -X
(extended attributes).
If you still encounter problems, could you answer then your rsync version?
