Hi,
I just find your application and I think it is an excellent idea.
So I use rdiff-backup (to make my backup and I want to know if Backintime save a full new version of a file after a modification or only the difference, like rdiff-backup do)

It does copy the full version of the new file.

Do you think rdiff-backup will be implemented (in place of rsync) into backintime to allow better backup with less filesize?

No it won't because in BIT snapshots must be easy to explore / open files.

Hello. There is a fuse module called rdiff-backup-fs (user to be called archfs) that allows you to mount the backup "partition" and access it either by backup set (gives all files in backup set like your GUI) or by filename (gives all backups of the file). You can fine out more about it at http://code.google.com/p/rdiff-backup-fs or you can install it in ubuntu as follows: sudo apt-get install archfs

I like your user interface but I urge you folks to reconsider using rdiff-backup.
