backintime : index corrupted

Asked by franck

hello

The backintime index seems to be corrupted.
Some backup directories do no exists on the disk but are present in the backup list (index) of backintime.

How can I rebuild the backup index from directories that are really present on the disk ?

thanks

BackInTime does not have an index. All lists are live views from disk. Can you please add a screenshot?

Here is the screenshot : http://screenshots.ubuntu.com/package/backintime-common

On the left side, you have the backup name (2015-09-07 19:00:03) and on the rigth side, you have the error message (in french) : this folder does not exist in the selected backup

On the disk, this folder does not exists, I have checked.

The problem is not for all the backup, in this screenshot, same probleme with 2015-08-31 15:45:03 - poub for example

This means that the folder you have selected (the path shown in the line above) is not backed up for what ever reason. Maybe it was excluded or not present at time of backup. If you go up the folder hierarchy it will show you the available folders.

Can you help with this problem?
