Ncurses CLI-GUI

Asked by Michael Robert Lawrence

http://www.tuxradar.com/content/code-project-build-ncurses-ui-python

a simple GUI via commandline might be a nice option for some,

 I run a Gentoo/Sabayon Box , it's bleeding Edge :-) Woot ***** updates worked.....

next week Oh NOOOOOZZZE , I got hOZZZED update broke my system X11-GUI is down....... usual steps to fix making it worse.... :-<({ EEK....

a midnight Commander like gui I get , just a suggestion. when angry one doesn't always type in the correct ..... and can jinx themselves worse. I think I'm pretty good , however once my temper flashes , I'm like a hell-bent solider with rather mangleing up stuff.

would be nice to roll back an update , sometimes building from SRc helps fix other times it can break the gui.
sometimes sabayon's very own binaries do it.

There was a branch providing a CLI for BIT. But it never got merged into main trunk (I've no idea why not). By now it is completely outdated and would need a lot of work.
So if you're happy to contribute, feel free to update https://code.launchpad.net/~ryan-c-ahearn/backintime/command_line_interface and we could merge it.

BTW you can use 'backintime --restore' from command line, too.

Can you help with this problem?
