Recovering data on a different computer

Hi, I read that I can recover my files onto another computer with BiT, if I get the path set up correctly. After many attempts, I still can't set the correct path. Down to what level must the path be set? For example, I have tried

/media/richard/My Passport/BackinTime/backintime/ubuntu/richard/1/20140920-141332-908/backup

without success. I still get no snapshots from which to recover the files.

Suggestions very welcome.

Please navigate to '/media/richard/My Passport/BackinTime' in 'Where to save snapshots'. Then deactivate 'Auto Host/User/Profile ID' and change Host to 'ubuntu', User to 'richard' and Profile ID to 1
