Upgrading to Ubuntu 12.10 causes "can't find snapshots folder" messages

Asked by poikiloid

After I upgraded to 12.10 from 12.04, I started getting the "can't find snapshots folder" error popup... yet, the destination drive is mounted, and I can navigate to all the files on it... what's going on?

i would just delete my config file and start fresh, but this seems to be caused by the upgrade. maybe a path variable is missing or something?

Not a bug in BIT but a feature of new kernel and udev version in 12.10
Just change the path in settings dialog.

Can you help with this problem?
