backintime Snapshots folder is not valid Main profile

Asked by Poiuz

I´m trying to get backintime-kde 1.0.7 to work. I downloaded it via Yast ( opensuse). At start the window SETTINGS turns up. Then I add the PROFILE poiuz and enter WHERE TO SAVE THE SNAPSHOTS /media/opensuse_130130. AUTO HOST... remains disabled. Clicking OK an error-window appears ---Profile: "Main profile" Snapshots folder is not valid !--- .
I tried it several times. And even after several reboots this behavior remains.
What went wrong?

Thanks for any help.

...I forgot to mention:
sure - I added some folders via the button INCLUDE. Then I clicked the button OK.

You have to configure the 'Main profile' first. If you want to use only one profile you can just use 'Main profile' for this.

I created another ticket to report the bug about creating new profile not working at https://bugs.launchpad.net/backintime/+bug/1335545
